PremierPrep terms of service.
PremierPrep is provided by Premier Academy, 2547 S Hacienda Blvd, Hacienda Heights, CA 91745. By using it you agree to these terms. If you’re under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to them for you.
Who can use it
- Students enrolled with Premier Academy use PremierPrep with the access code their tutor gives them, as part of their tutoring. A parent or guardian gives permission when the student enrols, including for students under 13.
- Anyone can use the free plan or subscribe to PremierPrep Plus. The app asks for your birth month and year before you start. Students under 13 who aren’t Premier Academy students get a kid account (see the Privacy Policy): a parent or guardian finishes signing them up, and accounts, sync, leagues, My Materials and Study Lab are turned off.
Leagues
- Premier Academy students compete in a league with other Premier Academy students, shown by first name.
- Other students 13 and older can join a separate public league by signing in with Apple and choosing a username. Don’t use your real name or anything that identifies you. Usernames that are offensive or pretend to be someone else aren’t allowed, and we may change or remove them.
PremierPrep Plus
- PremierPrep Plus is an auto-renewing subscription, sold monthly or yearly through Apple. The price is shown before you buy.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your account is charged for the next period within the 24 hours before it ends.
- You can manage or cancel it in your Apple Account settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions). Deleting the app or your PremierPrep account doesn’t cancel it.
- If a plan includes a free trial, any unused part of the trial ends when you buy a subscription.
- Apple’s Standard License Agreement for apps also applies.
The free plan
The free plan includes three lessons a day, the daily challenge, and one upload to My Materials. We may change what the free plan includes.
My materials
- Only upload material you have the right to use — your own notes, or class material you’re allowed to study from.
- What you upload is used only to make your own study material. It’s private to your account, never shown to anyone else, and never added to PremierPrep’s question bank.
- Flashcards and summaries from your uploads, and replies in Study Lab (the study chat), are written by AI (see the Privacy Policy). Each card is checked against your upload before you see it, but mistakes are still possible — if something looks wrong, go by your source.
- Don’t upload or attach photos of people’s faces, or anything with personal information on it.
- Don’t upload anything unlawful, or anything meant to break or misuse the service. We may remove material that does.
Fair use
Use PremierPrep for your own study. Don’t share your access code or account, try to get around the plan limits, or copy content out of the app in bulk. Premier Academy may give some accounts PremierPrep Plus for free; a free grant can end, and it isn’t a purchase.
Artificial intelligence
- The study assistant, Study Lab and My Materials use Anthropic’s Claude, and only after you agree to it; you can withdraw that in Settings → AI Data Sharing. Kid accounts don’t have them.
- AI can be wrong. Check anything important against your source material or your tutor.
Practice content
Practice questions, explanations and score estimates are original material written for study, drafted with the help of AI and checked before they’re used. A predicted score is an estimate, not a guarantee of any real test result.
Not affiliated with test makers
PremierPrep is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any testing organisation. SAT and PSAT/NMSQT are trademarks of the College Board. ACT is a trademark of ACT Education Corp. ISEE is a trademark of the Educational Records Bureau. SSAT is a trademark of The Enrollment Management Association. These names are used only to describe the tests PremierPrep helps you prepare for.
Copyright
Practice content, design and the PremierPrep and Premier Academy names and logos belong to Premier Academy. If you believe something in PremierPrep infringes your copyright, email pahh91745@gmail.com with the work, where it appears, and your contact details, and we’ll look into it promptly.
Your account
You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete Account. See the Privacy Policy for what that removes.
No warranty
PremierPrep is provided "as is" and "as available". We work to keep it accurate and running, but we don’t promise it will be error-free, always available, or that it will lead to any particular score or admission result.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Premier Academy isn’t liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of PremierPrep, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for PremierPrep in the 12 months before it. Nothing here limits rights you have under law that can’t be limited.
Disputes
- Please contact us first — most problems can be fixed with an email.
- If we can’t resolve it, any dispute about PremierPrep will be settled by binding individual arbitration under the Consumer Arbitration Rules of the American Arbitration Association, rather than in court, except that either of us may bring a claim in small claims court. Claims are brought individually, not as part of a class action.
- You can opt out of arbitration by emailing pahh91745@gmail.com within 30 days of first using PremierPrep.
- These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
Changes
We may update these terms as the app changes. We’ll say so in the app, and continuing to use it after an update means you accept the new terms.
